Below, details can be found on the commercial research projects completed and started within the Computational Intelligence Research Group.
In several cases, prototype development has been completed on research projects, with very positive initial results. The group is currently seeking backing from industry partners, in order to continue the development of these projects. These projects are listed under "projects seeking clients", below.
Parties from industry, who are interested in further commercial development of prototypes, as well as providing financial backing for such development, are invited to contact us for further information. Proposals for other joint commercial research projects are also welcome.
COMPLETED PROJECTS
Surface Anomaly Detection
From 2002 to 2006, CIRG successfully worked on a research project for BMW, with the objective of developing an automated system to detect and mark production defects on the surfaces of the outer panels of cars.
